Fares & Passes

The Clean Air Express offers 10-Ride and monthly passes as well as one-way cash and onboard contactless payment options. Passes or payment must be given or displayed to the driver when boarding the bus.

NOTE: SBCAG is NOT responsible for cards that are LOST, STOLEN or mail delivery errors. SBCAG’s fare media bus cards are to be treated the same as CASH. There will be no REFUNDS, EXCHANGES or REPLACEMENTS.

Monthly Passes

Monthly pass cards are valid for a calendar month and can be purchased at a sales outlet or ordered through the mail.

10-Ride passes contain a book of 10 one-way tickets and do not expire. 10-Ride pass books can be purchased at a sales outlet or ordered through the mail.

Cash Fare

A cash fare of $7 can be paid when boarding the bus. Exact fare required, change is not provided.

Tap to Ride Fare

The new contactless fare payment option allows riders to tap a contactless debit/credit Visa or Mastercard or mobile wallet (phone, watch, wearable) to pay their fare when boarding any Clean Air Express bus. Watch video.
